Paris, June 3, 2025 – In a significant step toward strengthening international cooperation in the broadcasting sector, the International Association of Broadcasting (IAB) today signed a Framework Agreement for Institutional Collaboration with France Médias Monde (FMM), specifically with its radio outlet, Radio France Internationale (RFI).
The official signing ceremony took place at the Press Club of France in Paris, with the participation of AIR President Dr. Paulo Tonet Camargo and FMM President and CEO Ms. Marie-Christine Saragosse.
This agreement allows AIR member radio and television stations to freely access and retransmit RFI’s news and current affairs content on their own platforms, provided proper source credit is given. The use of this content requires only the completion of a simple online agreement, at no cost to the broadcasters.
AIR values this alliance as a meaningful opportunity to enhance access to high-quality international news and to promote future joint initiatives in training, production, and editorial collaboration.
